#2623 Huge readme is killing Pagure

Trying to open Fedora dist-git vim repository [1], it takes ages. I suspect that it is dues to huge README.patches file, which has ~2MB and Pagure tries to format it and display it. Is there anything what could be done to improve the performance?

Reformat the readme? :D

Well, yes, I already discussed this with VIM maintainer, but I suspect this is probably not the only one huge readme file in the world ...

I think we can close this issue, as this project's README is empty (or) unavailable currently.

@ymdatta This is just sticking head into sand, not solving problems.

The page seems to load fine now: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/vim/tree/fffb1895d26ae3464c8cd65099a3da18a46e82c1

It takes a while granted, but it eventually shows.

So I'm going to close this as fixed for now. Feel free to re-open if you disagree or face the problem again.
