It looks like the user's settings page where one can change the default email address is broken and one can no longer update their default contact :(

Can someone please pick this up? Unable to change my default email address on src.fp.o or pagure.io -- the "star" selector is locked on my old email address.

Changing an email address CAN be a very important issue for some people.
