Hi,
I've discovered that the module (postgresql 15) defined in our variants.xml does not exist in the DVD ISO we produced and buildinstall phase. Our pkgset_source is set to "repos", not using koji.
Under this configuration, is pungi unable to select the rpms required by the module? Or, how should we configure it to ensure that the module is included in the ISO?
compose/metadata/modules.json
{ "header": { "type": "productmd.modules", "version": "1.2" }, "payload": { "compose": { "date": "20240904", "id": "...", "respin": 0, "type": "development" }, "modules": {} } }
variants.xml (ignore some unnecessary info)
<variants> <variant id="BaseOS" name="MyBaseOS" type="variant" has_optional="false"> <arches>...</arches> <groups>...</groups> <modules> <module>postgresql:15</module> </modules> </variant> </variants>
yaml in module_defaults
--- document: modulemd-defaults version: 1 data: module: postgresql profiles: "15": - server ...
RPM list for postgresql 15:
postgresql-server-15.8-1.module+el9.4.0+25512+c6b50a48.x86_64.rpm postgresql-server-devel-15.8-1.module+el9.4.0+25512+c6b50a48.x86_64.rpm ... etc
Pungi can only work with modules obtained directly from Koji. Modularity was never added to the repos pkgset source.

Given the state of modularity, this is not getting implemented.
