fedmsg publication is failing for the modular rawhide nightly, here:

.. but I'm not sure why. The logs don't explain what was passed to fedmsg-logger that made it fail:

Any hints? Is there a verbosity setting I can increase in the config?

The traceback at the top is printed by the shell wrapper script.

Pungi for the modular compose is not configured to send notifications.

My guess is that the fedmsg_json_start variable is defined only after it's being used.

The problem is not limited to modular compose, the same traceback is printed for other composes like regular rawhide. However it's not something that can be fixed in Pungi.
