#10538 Fedora 36 Mass Rebuild
Closed: Fixed by humaton. Opened by humaton.

The fedora 36 schedule[1] has a mass rebuild scheduled for Jan 19 2022, We need to plan and coordinate all tasks in preparation for it.

Changes that require mass rebuild are:

We still need to rebuild Ruby and I am looking for the right time slot considering the mass rebuild. In the most optimistic case, we'll need 2 days, but in worse case, up to 10. So it is probably not right time to fire the rebuild right now.

One option could be to push the changes into Ruby repo and make sure it is rebuilt as one of the first items. Not sure if would be doable.

Here is a Bugzilla for gcc12 bug that might impact mass rebuild https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2041667

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2042507 currently prevents all rawhide builds.

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2043092 might break every arch rubygem- package. This also possibly issue for all Python packages, but that needs to be confirmed by Python team.
