#11081 Can not orphan zola package; receive database error instead
Closed: Fixed by humaton. Opened by mulhern.

  • Describe the issue

Pressing the "Orphan" button at https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/zola results in error. Text is: "Unable to orphan the package: An error occurred at the database level and prevent the action from reaching completion."

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)

That's a question about the release process that I can not answer. The package was unretired, now it looks like it should be retired again before f37 comes out.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

I don't know. It's a release management question.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

I don't know. A database error seems bad.

The package is now orphaned, the underlying issue is tracked here: #10394 and will be fixed soon.
