python-hiredis accidentally had a tar ball added to git on new import package
While we get git rm the source, it wouldn't make the repo history smaller. Would it make sense since this is a new package import to start this again from scratch ? If so, please do :)

Hello folks;
I was going through the backlog of tickets and stumbled on this one, and I have some questions:
CC: @kevin @humaton
We don't do anything that breaks git history. ;)
So, we can handle this just like we handle commits that people want to be removed... we have a script that runs that tells us if the commit was ever used in a build, etc...
so it's the normal process I would think?

So, I checked this, and it has been taken down as part of the commit in a normal manner

I think we can close this now, but in case of queries please feel free to reopen it
