#12083 Cannot submit update for f41-build-side-88505
Closed: upstream by phsmoura. Opened by orion.

  • Describe the issue
I'm trying to submit an update for f41-build-side-88505 but getting From_tag : Update already exists using this side tag pretty sure I haven't submitted one yet

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    Before the builds expire

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    Never

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
    My package updates won't happen

Huh, super weird.

That seems to be used by this f40 update:

https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-56d61b1f41

But how could you have gotten the same sidetag for that and this? :(

I'm going to just remove that from that update in the db, and we can try and figure out what might have happened. ;(

ok, done. You should be able to now submit.

However... we should keep this open to try and figure out what might have happened?

I've been able to submit the update, thanks.

I suppose it's possible I specified targets for other builds, but that's even a different release which is just strange.

It's also possible that I started to submit an update in the web for that side tag, but then stopped and switched to submitting the conda update.

Yeah, maybe the web form got messed up. Hopefully fixed in https://github.com/fedora-infra/bodhi/pull/5647
