#12148 scm request failed: "Bugzilla reviewer is not tied to a user in FAS"
Closed: Fixed by fschwarz. Opened by fschwarz.

  • Describe the issue

I approved a new package for Fedora and the user requested a new repo for his package. However releng-bot denied the request:

The email address "fschwarz@fedoraproject.org" of the Bugzilla reviewer is not tied to a user in FAS or FAS check failed. Group membership can't be validated.

The email above is my default address in FAS as far as I can tell.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)

well, soon would be nice I guess. :-)

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

n/a

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

No python-pdf in Fedora, waste of review hours...

Since you have a custom email in your FAS it checks for it in BZ. Try to set the Red Hat Bugzilla Email in your FAS to @fedoraproject.

Can you explain this a bit more? Specifically I'm not sure where I can set the "Bugzilla Email address" in FAS.

In FAS I only see "Email Addresses" (User Settings) and "fschwarz@fedoraproject.org" is the primary one.

Ah, sorry. I found it now. I need to look in FAS, not pagure.

Thank you for the pointer.
