I've been following process from https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Package_Orphaning_Process/#claiming_ownership_of_an_orphaned_package
Let me know if I'm missing something

You need to ensure a few things before getting ownership of this package. Make sure you are in the packagers group[1] and if the package is retired for more than 8 weeks, you need to file a Bugzilla ticket, the package review tracking ticket is required only for new or long retired packages[2].

Hey @jnsamyak !
Thanks for the quick response!
Ok, seems that for this package I only need "Make sure you are in the packagers group[1]" for now; so seems I only need to follow https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Packager_sponsor_policy/#adopting , right?
Yes.
Until jjardon becomes a packager, I will temporarily own buildstream.
I think we only need to unblock rawhide, because the package is not retired on any other branches.

@catanzaro Due to the packager policy I'm treating this ticket as if you were the requester.
The retirement commit was reverted [0] and the F41 tag was unblocked in Koji. $ koji list-pkgs --show-blocked --package=buildstream

I think that should be it. In case you run into any issues feel free to reopen this ticket.
