#12661 Adjust torrent SOP/process to use correct checksum for KDE edition
Closed: Fixed with Explanation by kevin. Opened by kevin.

It's been reported that the f42 beta kde torrent has the 'spins' checksum file in it.

Since KDE is moving to an edition it has it's own checksum file now, and we should include that one in the torrent. :)

We could fix the beta one, but we should make sure we fix this for final release.

I tried looking into it today - the rsynced gave me no seprate checksum for KDE

Fedora-Python-Classroom-Live-aarch64-42 Fedora-Xfce-Live-x86_64-42

This is what I got

And, to confirm the spins still had the KDE checksum

cat Fedora-Spins-42-1.1-aarch64-CHECKSUM | grep "KDE"
# Fedora-KDE-Mobile-Live-42-1.1.aarch64.iso: 2184912896 bytes
SHA256 (Fedora-KDE-Mobile-Live-42-1.1.aarch64.iso) = 64846f371e3a0279af6b55f3ab20cf660ed8156029e318b7823d2b3f655074b5

Note that KDE-Mobile is a spin.... but KDE is a edition (top level thing)

This is caused by it moving from spins to an edition

i think they were pointing it out to

Fedora-KDE-Desktop-Live-x86_64-42-1.1
Fedora-KDE-Desktop-Live-aarch62-42-1.1

iso's they are built, synced, signed, and generated torremts!

These are included as part of the stage-release also, if there is anything else, please let us kmow!

Yeah, final looks good to me. Beta is still broken of course, but I don't think we want to go back to fix that at this point...
