#12906 Unretire qtile
Closed: Fixed by patrikp. Opened by frostyx.

Name of the package?

qtile

FAS username of the new maintainer?

frostyx

Branches that you need it to be unretired for?

rawhide
f43

Package re-review BZ URL?

Not needed, the package has been retired only few days (not 8 weeks)

Any extra information?

I was on a long, partial PTO and failed to fix the package in time. But I never wished for it to get retired. In fact @dannycolin was working hard trying to fix it in the meantime.

Hello,

For some more context, the package was retired because it failed to install, as announced beforehand here [1]. We are currently discussing [2] what the best way to handle this (now and in the future) is in terms of our process, please be patient.

Thank you kindly.

By the way, I was already able to communicate the issue with upstream and have a working version of the package ready for when it gets unretired.

Hello,

I believe the package should now be unretired. The retirement commit is reverted in both branches and the Koji tags are unblocked.
Please note that I didn't do anything about untagging builds as the discussion is still underway.

I wish you a good day.

Thank you very much for unretiring the package. I already successfully built it for rawhide and F43
