Hello,

For some more context, the package was retired because it failed to install, as announced beforehand here [1]. We are currently discussing [2] what the best way to handle this (now and in the future) is in terms of our process, please be patient.

Thank you kindly.

I'm aware that the package was retired due to it being FTI. Unfortunately, I was not aware that the package was part of Spyder's dependencies. Meanwhile, pylint has been rebuilt for Python 3.14 thereby unblocking python-pylint-venv.

The alternative of removing python-pylint-venv from Spyder looks less appealing. I'm already (co-)maintaining quite a few of Spyder's dependencies. Keeping Spyder in Fedora is the overall goal here.

Scratch build: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=136482821

I also checked that the package installs.

Indeed, please proceed with the unretirement here. We'll build it right away.

The retirement commits are reverted (for both F43 and F44 branches), tags unblocked and you are now the main admin of the project.

Please note that I didn't do anything about the builds.
