@ignatenkobrain What are you suggesting here? We need something else to figure out whether a component is retired or not. And I think pdc is the best place for it, although to change the EOL for modules, its a bit headache as one has to request releng to change it.
I guess we should fix that in fedpkg.

@mohanboddu I've just filed #8437 and found this one here. I agree that ideally fedpkg request-branch should let you modify the SLs/EOL dates (just as you can specify them when requesting a branch to be created in the first place).
