#8598 Switch the FTBFS reminders to F31FTBFS
Closed: Fixed by churchyard. Opened by churchyard.

Please update the configuration of the weekly FTBFS bugzilla reminder to start notifying the Fedora 31 bugs. Thanks.

Please. cc @smooge

I don't think I have write access to the git repo which has these in it.

oh. is it @mohanboddu and @kevin ?

@smooge

I see a script in https://pagure.io/releng/issue/7718#comment-580292 - what git repo is this in?

Please?

This config is in the infrastructure ansible repo.

Should it also be nagging about the f29, f30 and f32 ones? Or just f31 at this point? I would think we would want all of them? which means we need some adjustment to the setup...

I think just nagging the latest* works best.

  • if the package builds in rawhide and not in f29, there is no point in retiring it on rawhide (and we cannot retire it on f29 anyway), in my opinion, we should just let the bugzillas EOL there
  • there are no NEW Fedora 30 bugzillas anyway (the last remaining were efivar and mockuitl but I have changed them to ASSIGNED based on the info from the devel list and they also got the F31 bug open)

* by latest, I mean the latest release where the mass rebuild happened, i.e. 31 in this case

ok, cool. Makes sense. Can we close this now? Or leave to make sure the script runs at least once?

I'd rather see if it works before we close it, yes. Thanks for looking into it.

Thank You. It works!

Metadata Update from @churchyard:
- Issue close_status updated to: Fixed
- Issue status updated to: Closed (was: Open)

There was reminders sent for packages that had already been retired due to other issues, it should probably check the status of the packages and auto close them as WONTFIX as in some cases the maintainers may be AWOL and the bugs never dealt with.
