Therefore I would like to become the owner of the tolua++ package (FAS jwrdegoede) and unretire tolua++, I will take care of the FTBFS issue.
Note the depending packages were not listed in the orphan reports to the devel list, likely due to this dnf bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1760772
When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD) ASAP, this means we currently have broken deps in the F31 repo.
When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD) When all the other depending packages are removed.
If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact? Broken deps in the F31 repo.
Per: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Orphaned_package_that_need_new_maintainers#Claiming_Ownership_of_a_Retired_Package
I have send a mail to the devel list about this. Can you please also create a f31 branch for tolua++ when unretiring it?
@jwrdegoede Hi, the package is unretired now. Branch f31 and master are unretired. The f31 branch was already there for feature branch requests please use fedpkg request-branch
