#9555 Unretire rpms/python-django-tinymce
Closed: Get back later by mohanboddu. Opened by cqi.

  • Describe the issue

I'm packaging Nitrate in Copr, which requires django-tinymce. Current version 2.4.0 is too old to work with Django 3.0, hence the build of Nitrate fails in f32. I'd like to take this package.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Please handle this issue when you get a chance. It's not urgent.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Not sure at this moment. There is no plan for Nitrate to replace django-tinymce for now. So, before any implementation of working with other JS editor, it will always be required by Nitrate.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

I have a latest build in my own Copr. It works, but not much convenience when I test the build locally since I have to install that package into mock buildroot manually.

@cqi It seems python-django-tinymce is retired for more than 8 weeks, it needs a re-review to unretire the package.

Please reopen the ticket once the re-review is approved.
