#9832 gcc-10.2.1-6.fc33 can't be tagged to Fedora 33 build root - Firefox build fails
Closed: Fixed by kevin. Opened by stransky.

  • Describe the issue

Although gcc-10.2.1-6.fc33 is marked as stable, it's missing in F33 Koji build root so Firefox fails to build.

See https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=54390140
Old gcc-10.2.1-5.fc33 is used.

GCC Bodhi update:
https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-24ed89ef74

I can't request build root override, bodhi says the update is already stable.

Added @jakub

There was also the https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-c2f8b50633 update to 10.2.1-5.fc33 and annobin-9.28-3.fc33 which has been created earlier, also got an email sent to package-announce ml (earlier than the -6.fc33 one), but in the same batch of the fc33 updates.

Yeah, this is the old issue with multiple updates.

The eariler update was pending stable, the new one was made and normally it would obsolete the older one, but in this case there were multiple builds there, so it didn't. Both went stable when we pushed 0 days and unluckily the older one ended up tagged last. ;(

Fixed. Should be usable after the next newrepo run...
