We currently strip new-lines and one back for spec loaded from committed git tree and for preprocessed specs but dirty non-preprocessed specs (loaded from fs) ends up with an additional new-line both in file and in stdout. We should reconsider the new-line stripping as it changes source content (even though one could argue that it should be insignificant) and in either case consolidate the behavior.
