Once we have a method for building images (#646), we will need a method for getting those images onto the virthosts that will run the images. Among the things which need to be figured out:
* will the images be pushed to a set of virthosts?
* will the virthosts or clients poll some uri for new images?
* what mechanism will be used for transfer?

Once figured out, test and deploy

IIRC, this is taken care of with the base_image stuff once it's deployed to more than dev. @jskladan, can you correct me if I'm wrong or take this task?

Actually, can't we close this in lieu of #646?

I'm +1 on closing, as this is implemented in base_images and #646 IMO covers the problem.
