Note: ticket in fedora infra for allowing resultsdb to emit fedmgs in stg: https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-infrastructure/ticket/4916

I think this can be closed now that production is emitting fedmsgs.

Please re-open if there's something I've missed

It's funny how I see stuff right after it's most relevant - forgot about the "removing bodhi comment module" bit

Filed and added some tasks from D691#13273 as blockers, but some additional thoughts on what we're missing can still be found there, probably.

All the sub-tasks are closed now, let's wait until everything is in production to check there are no issues and then close this.

Thanks Martin. Once this is in production and we verify it works correctly, I'll probably want to write a blogpost about it to let people know.

Wasn't this deployed to production last week?

Yes, but we still haven't verified it works properly. We're trying to use FMN stg for that, but there are some obstacles to overcome. If that turns out to be problematic, we can send some fake fedmsgs in production, but I want to avoid that if possible.

A bug in FMN got fixed, we'll be hopefully able to test it tomorrow:
https://github.com/fedora-infra/fmn.lib/pull/60

@kparal and I tested fedmsg notifications on stg today and it worked, so I am closing this. If there are any issues, we can open a new ticket. \ó/ I am going to write a blogpost about this today or tomorrow.
